city farmhouse pop up*

Well…we have all heard of pop-up shows…they are pretty much sweeping the country. But we had the honor of participating in special kind of pop-up show put on by The City Farmhouse…The Barn Style Pop Up Show!

It featured 150 vendors…(us included) and was a virtual cornucopia of vintage finds, americana treasures, up cycled, down cycled and artists. It was held just down the road from us in Leipers Fork in a beautiful pasture on loan from one of the local residents. And what a perfect setting it was…

Everything was fabulous from the vendors, to the music…right down to the ice tea truck who served lots of flavors of freshly brewed ice tea in mason jars. And don’t get me started on the BBQ.

The event was carefully curated by the owners of The City Farmhouse and they did not disappoint. Every vendor was special, unique and showed up to wow.

The crowing glory was the Buddy Killens former majestic Southern mansion which was in the center of the event. Each room in the mansion was decorated by a different group…including a group of interior design students from the local O’more college.

The fall weather couldn’t have been better, the customers were lovely…and needless to say…Nashville continues to warm our hearts, enchant us its beauty, generosity and southern down home hospitality.  We fall more in love with it each day…
