…engagement rings are in the house…

Our Engagement line which we are calling the “Ever After” series is in the house…Here is a sneak preview of an 18k yellow gold halo ring with a 1.5 ct Grey Chameleon diamond. Chameleon diamonds are very rare and change color  with the light and also heat. This one goes from a smokey grey to a light green…super cool.

We have included our poetic words on each one…if you choose. This one says “ever after” around the band with a little heart on the bottom.

We are also doing a line of wedding bands, anniversary bands and eternity bands. You may choose from any quality of white or colored rose cut diamonds. Colors can include champagne, chocolate, cognac, greys & greens…( I love the colored ones! So different)

Rose cut diamonds originated in the 1500’s and were meant to resemble the petals of a rose. They are cut differently than today’s diamonds…they are flat on the bottom and have up to 32 facets on their rounded dome. I feel they give each ring a vintage, old world feel that best complements our rugged & romantic style.

Our rings can be hand made in 18k yellow, white or rose gold. Each and every ring will be a one of a kind and made to order.

So if you are engaged, getting engaged or are just looking for a special anniversary gift…let us know and we can help you make something special.

Love & Peace…

…ever after…

A sneak behind the scenes peek at our newest line called the “Ever After” series of engagement & bridal jewelry. This is a wax that I have been hard at work on…I carved & recarved the bezel to get it just right. The orange dots are going to be pave diamonds all around…and the band is etched with the words “ever after.”

This is the exact diamond this ring was carved for…It is a 1.5 ct. chameleon, rose cut diamond.

Chameleon diamonds are very, very rare…and I was so very lucky to have this fall into my lap unexpectedly. It came directly from India from a friend of a friend…and it is a rare beauty. Chameleon diamonds are usually a greyish-green hue but change color according to the light & also heat. They are highly coveted…and kind of like trying to find the Easter Bunny…You hear about them, but never really see them.

We are going to cast this setting in a 18K yellow gold…which will give it a rich buttery hue…and will bring out all the light in the diamond.

I am so excited to see the finished product…I can barely stand it.

Stay tuned for more goodies!
